香港中風學會成立於2001年4月，致力提高大眾對中風的關注，以及完善針對中風的診斷及治療。此外，學會亦積極鼓勵和發展學術研究，希望運用實證醫學原則治療腦血管及相關疾病。 由於近年中風有年輕化的趨勢，香港中風學會與叮叮科創合作，推出「擊退中風」學生大使計劃，以提高年輕人對預防中風的關注。
The Hong Kong Stroke Society (HKSS) was founded in April 2001. It aims to create an awareness towards stroke disorders and improve the standard of stroke diagnosis and treatment. It also encourages, develops and assists in the development of research in stroke and related disciplines, in order to advance the knowledge and practice of stroke management as a science. In recent years, there was a trend of younger stroke onset. To increase awareness towards stroke prevention in the younger generation, HKSS has worked with tramplus to develop the "Strike Out Stroke" Student Ambassador Scheme.

Introduction
本計劃由即日起至2024年11月1日接受全港中學提名申請。大會將遴選20位學校代表參加計劃，深入了解中風，並學習利用嶄新AI技術及工具，透過創作吉祥物及宣傳影片，提升大眾對中風及「談笑用兵」的認識。參加者完成課程後將獲頒AI課程證書，並以學生大使身份於校園或社區作進一步推廣，務求學以致用，普及中風相關的資訊，讓更多人受惠。
From now on until 1 November 2024, all local secondary school students are eligible to take part in this Scheme via nomination from their school. The 20 selected candidates will get to know more about stroke, and learn to use the latest AI technology and tools to create mascots and promotional videos to promote stroke awareness (especially the F.A.S.T. acronym) to the public. Students who completed the course will be awarded the AI Course Certificate, and become Stroke Ambassadors to further spread the word in their community and benefit more people.

Eligibility and selection criteria
每所中學可以提名最多2名學生代表申請本計劃，
受惠學生必須為中二至中五。大會鼓勵校方就以下標準甄選學生代表：
Each school can nominate 2 students for this scheme, given that they are between F.2 - F.5.
Schools are encouraged to select students based on the following criteria:
(a) 優秀學業成績 及/或；
(b) 社區服務貢獻 及/或；
(c) 領導才能及溝通技巧 及/或；
(d) 跨界別知識及潛能。

(b) Community contributions and/or;
(c) Outstanding leadership and communication skills and/or;
(d) Knowledgable in various curricula
